Day 245

still feeling pretty gross today, and i had a heap of work to get thru.  the weather was good tho so i put a load of washing on first thing.  just as the machine was starting the rinse cycle it stopped going.....dang it.  we'd had this happen before, it was a hairpin stuck in outwater pipe.  so since we 'knew' what was wrong and how it was fixed last time, i decided to have a go myself.  actually wasn't that hard...just makes a lot of mess when the remaining water (having hand emptied the machine) sitting in the bottom of the barrel comes out.  problem this time - matches.  yes, well... an entire box of matches had gone thru the washing machine a few days previously.
so after sorting it, i started the machine again, got a few loads thru and it stopped again.   argh!  emptied it again....started it again, same thing.  so apparently there were a fair few matches in the box.....feck!

second shoot today for the remaining pitch models.  i have to say it was a lot of fun.  wish i could have had more time with each of them to do some more interesting stuff, but for ease we had them all turning up at the same time, so you really didn't want to keep them hanging around. 
I managed to nab this shot at the end of the shoot with the last group of girls i shot.

Day 240

ok, so it wasn't hayfever.  woke up with the most awful headcold and i had a full day ahead of me that i could not get out of.....
boy and i helped a friend from school out today with a shoot for his final series of work for the year.  we weren't assisting but modeling, and to add to the shame of it all we were in role reversal.  i figured i deserved to be in such a shoot for payback(in a round about way) to two of my mate's that i made do the same thing back in my first year - although i made them do it in a much more public way.
back into the studio at the end of the day for a shoot with the pitch models.  headshots for them all for a competition to win them a portfolio shoot with a talent agency.

Day 239

had a busy day doing work on my images etc, but ended it with dinner at my cousins house.  it's always fun going there and hanging out with the kids, esp as they have totally warmed to boy now.  we still hadn't shown them the photos from the shoot we did with them back in september.  was great to look over them with them.
only downer was i seemingly have hideously bad hayfever.
