Day 155

my aunt flew through chc today on her way home to gore after being in auckland for the birth of her youngest's first child. i went out to the airport to hang out with her while she waited for her connecting flight to dunner's.
it was great to catch up and spend time with her and hear about what is happening in her world and my nana's world. my nana was moved to gore from wanganui last year so she could be closer to my aunt.
nana was 95 this year. she's in relatively good health, but a tad dottery!!! bless her....she wouldn't have a clue who i am!
anyway, we had a quick coffee, i saw pictures of the newest grandchild and then met her partner(who was on a different flight) and walked them to their plane...which i have to say, was at a gate i didn't even know existed!

About This Blog

365 days has been around for ever (it's probably older than me even). i have resisted the temptation to do one, until now.
i am the photographic artist in residence at christchurch polytechnic, new zealand, this year. a friend decided she was going to do a 365 days, and conned me into doing it too. I figured it would be a great project for the year, and a great way to remember the year. to make it a little more challenging, i decided to take self-portrait each day.
so here goes
