Day 181

shot another wedding today.  it was so low key and cruisy, which made it great fun to shoot.  i met angie, the bride, during my first year of tech here in chc.  she looked after the scholarship applications etc (of which i was madly applying for as many as possible).  we hit it off straight away and always have plenty to talk about having a common interest in anthropology!
ang had spoken to me earlier in the year about possibly doing her wedding, but me being me, had shied away from it....lack of confidence etc etc.  then a a few days after c&m's wedding ang contacted me about shooting her and andrew's wedding.  they'd decided sort of last minute to get a photographer.  luckily i was feeling great after having just shot the other wedding and so said yes.  so glad i did!
it was a beautiful sunny albeit windy day, which meant no going up into the hills for photos, besides ang was running pretty late.  so we just went to a few spots we'd found in sumner and had fun.  that was the aim of the day, and again, a&a had asked for casual photos! have a sneak peek at a few here.  we also included a trip to the pub too, especially as it was prior to the ceremony.....figured it would help relax them a little too....

About This Blog

365 days has been around for ever (it's probably older than me even). i have resisted the temptation to do one, until now.
i am the photographic artist in residence at christchurch polytechnic, new zealand, this year. a friend decided she was going to do a 365 days, and conned me into doing it too. I figured it would be a great project for the year, and a great way to remember the year. to make it a little more challenging, i decided to take self-portrait each day.
so here goes
